Channonry Dolphins

Next Previous

Chanonry Point is reputedly the best Dolphin watching spot in Europe. Here you can see regular visits by the Moray resident Bottlenose dolphins who come to the turbulent waters to catch Salmon and similar.

You can stand at the head of the point, next to the lighthouse and be about a mile 'off shore'. The Dolphin swim as close as a few metres away and often play leaping right out of the water.

The hard bit is knowing when they will be there!
